Our corvette TCG KINALIADA, which continued its return journey from Japan after the 100th anniversary events of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Japan, visited Doha / Qatar between 23-25 ​​July 2024. Our ship was welcomed at the port by our Doha Ambassador Mustafa Göksu, Ministry of National Defense Deputy General Director of Defense and Security Major General Ertunç Ertufanlı, Qatar Turkish Combined Joint Force Deputy Commander Brigadier General Tahir Kuşadalı, Naval Component Commander Naval Colonel Adil Tüfekçi and Doha Military Attaché Engineer Staff Colonel Ali Çetin. Within the scope of the visit, our staff paid office visits to the Commander of the Qatar Naval Forces, Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti, the Commander of the Qatar Turkish Combined Joint Force, Brigadier General Hadi AL-Khayarin, and the Deputy Commander of the Qatar Turkish Combined Joint Force, Brigadier General Tahir Kuşadalı. Training was conducted on our ship with the participation of Qatar Naval Forces personnel. A press briefing was held on the ship with the participation of members of the press and our ship was opened to the public. Within the scope of the port visit, the reception hosted by our Doha Ambassador Mustafa Göksu and TCG KINALIADA Commander; Many guests attended, including Qatar Navy Commander Brigadier General Hamad Al Salih, Qatar Turkish Combined Joint Force Commander Brigadier General Hadi AL-Khayarin, diplomatic representatives of foreign countries, personnel at the Qatar Naval Forces Command and Turkish representatives in Qatar.
