President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at a meeting with the provincial heads of the Justice and Development (AK) Party in Ankara.
Underscoring that the healing of the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes was on top of their agenda, President Erdoğan said: “We can never allow those earthquakes, described as the disaster of the century, to be forgotten. We will uninterruptedly work until we compensate for the material loss of each and every one of our citizens in the earthquake zone. As we have promised our nation, with Allah’s permission, we will complete the construction of 319 thousand houses within the first one year and deliver them to their owners.”
“We are determinedly taking the steps aimed at overcoming the problems caused by inflation in our citizens’ lives,” noted President Erdoğan, and added: “We have started to see the positive outcomes of the measures we have taken. The prices in the car market, which had been criticized the most until last month, are gradually becoming stable. The real estate market and rent prices will find balance soon as well.”
