President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the Army War College Commencement and Flag Handover Ceremony in Ankara. Stressing that Türkiye, as a country that maintains the military-nation tradition, is one of the countries that entered the new era, in which geopolitics and political geography have come to the fore, in the most prepared manner, President Erdoğan said: “Security is not a newborn issue for our nation, which has been putting up an existential fight throughout centuries on the lands it has been living. Therefore, we have taken many steps of historic importance to further strengthen our military over the past 21 years. We have definitely written a success story in the field of defense history.”
